This section shows you how to add and view custom emission factors.

Create a custom emission factor

Name -> Drop Down -> Custom Factors

The Custom Emission Factors section allows you to add bespoke emission factors for emissions which are not covered by standard protocols, such as DEFRA or GHG.

When adding custom factors, you can calculate and specify conversion formulas to transform business activity into emission data. For example, you can create a custom factor for purchased electricity if you have negotiated a custom deal with your supplier. You can also create a custom factor for a specific purchase or activity, for example 'emissions per order delivered' or 'emissions per job completed'.

Click +Add. Add name of custom emission factor (EF), unit type, activity type, emission type, source of emission, unit of EF as a numerator (you will see options in the drop down to select), unit of EF as a denominator, numeric values of: CO2, CH4, and N2O. CO2e is auto-filled by Net0. Click Add at the bottom to save.

At the top of the screen you can search any of your custom EFs by typing next to the magnifying glass and clicking it, or just scroll down and select one.
